Ronan McKee is a freelance percussionist and self employed educational music facilitator. He regularly performs with the Ulster Orchestra and also delivers educational programmes for them. Ronan also performs with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and the RTE Concert Orchestra and he is a percussionist for the Wexford Festival Opera Orchestra.

In 2008 Ronan set up the educational company Play Percussion which delivers World Drumming workshops in schools and community groups throughout Northern Ireland. He is passionate about this work and sees it as his calling to spread the joy and fun of music to every child in NI through the use of traditional rhythms and instruments from Africa and South America..
