FTBBSS.com are excited to announce the date for Brassfest 2026. Saturday 5th September 2026. FTBBSS.com held its inaugural Brassfest event in 2025. A free Brass Band Music Festival, which took place at the Buttermarket in Enniskillen on Saturday 13th September. This exciting event featured 14 bands performing their concert programmes on stage throughout the day between 10am - 6pm, offering a vibrant musical experience for all attendees and community. The participating bands were a wonderful mix of local talent as well as groups traveling from across Northern Ireland adding a diverse and dynamic atmosphere to the festival. To enhance the fun, friendly competition was incorporated, with bands performing for prizes and aiming to impress the judging panel. Each band comprised approximately 25-30 members, along with their enthusiastic supporters who stayed in local hotels, exploring Enniskillen’s fantastic eateries, and enjoying various activities around town. Visitors explored the onsite small businesses and cafes at the Buttermarket, making it a perfect day for community engagement. We were thrilled to host this landmark event for the first time in the picturesque grounds of the Buttermarket. Our goal was to provide free musical entertainment for the community, creating a lively atmosphere where visitors could enjoy a coffee or treat while discovering the excellent local businesses that make Enniskillen special. The festival culminated with a social evening in Charlies bar to announce the results.
